Operation Clubhouse Ghana

0 Donors

Clubhouse Ghana directly serves approximately 600–800 individuals annually through a combination of in-patient and out-patient services. The facility includes a 22-bed in-patient rehabilitation unit, which provides intensive, short- to mid-term care for individuals with severe mental health conditions. In addition, hundreds of community members regularly access the Clubhouse in an out-patient capacity each month for psychotherapy, group therapy, vocational training, skills workshops, and community integration activities—all designed around the globally recognized Clubhouse psychosocial rehabilitation model.

Beyond the direct participants, the project is expected to indirectly benefit over 2,000 individuals each year, including family members, caregivers, employers, and local community members. These indirect outcomes include improved family stability, enhanced educational attainment (as recovered individuals return to school or training), improved household mental health, reduced stigma, and greater economic empowerment through employment and community reintegration. The long-term ripple effect of the program also extends to public awareness and advocacy, contributing to policy dialogue around mental health and human dignity in Ghana and across West Africa.
