Lydia Pinto - Lydia is new to membership in Rotary International and holds the classification of "Producer".  She works for Next Brazilian Productions in Houston.  The goal of Next Brazilian Productions is to bring together the Brazilian Community in Texas and to expose our culture to other local communities. Our annual calendar of activities includes Houston Brazilian Carnival with a live broadcast from Brazil, concerts featuring top artists from Brazil, and local mixers and other cultural events.  Dree Miller is her sponsor.  Lydia shares this about her affiliation with Rotary,

"Learn, share and help. I work with events and promotion and any help that will be needed and if I'm available would like to participate. "  We hope she will be available to assist us with our fundraiser next month!

Susan Downs -  Susan is also new to Rotary International and her classification is  Physical Therapy.  She lives in Bellaire (for those not from the Houston area it is really  a city in southwest Harris County, Texas, United States, within the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area).   Thank you , Randolph McKinney, for sharing Rotary!  Randolph shared, "She's a great volunteer and is passionate about helping others. The E-Club would be a great fit".  Susan says,  "I’m a retired physical therapist and enjoy volunteering in my community. The e-club seems like a perfect fit with my schedule and I look forward to joining and being involved! "

Robin Charlesworth -  Robin has been the editor of our newsletter since before the Rotary e-club of Houston became officially chartered. She has been President of Willowbrook Rotary and Houston NW Sunset, and served as an Assistant Governor twice.  She is sponsored by PDG Ed Charlesworth, our Charter President, who challenged her to put together the website and establish the weekly newsletter to build an e-Club.  Robin and Ed host many of our events, including our upcoming fundraiser in March.  Robin holds the classification of "Hospitality" as she resides in Lake City, CO half of the calendar year managing their family owned mountain-town lodge.  "The e-club is a great option for me to remain active in our Rotary district, and publishing the newsletter allows me to contribute to Rotary from a distance.  I love to hear/read all of the Rotary stories and embrace the motto "Service Above Self".  Rotary has helped me broaden my perspective on the world we live in and promoted friendships I cherish around the globe."
