Hawani Manaye Adugna who holds a Master’s degree in Global Affairs from Rice University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Baylor University will be speaking via zoom on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at noon. She has extensive experience in human rights advocacy, international conflict resolution, and crisis management. Through her work with various government and nonprofit organizations, Hawani has contributed to policy development and humanitarian initiatives aimed at peacebuilding and conflict prevention. She has also collaborated with Rotary International in Rennes, France, where she engaged with cross-cultural initiatives to promote dialogue and understanding.
